Athlete or not, percussion massage guns have been all the rage this past year. They have a multitude of benefits and allow for deep tissue massages. The best part for me? You can give yourself a back massage! I've also noticed that I have fewer muscles aches and joint pain when I use regularly on my legs. That's why I was so excited to be able to try out the Rocaer Muscle Massage Gun.
Pros
Cost
The Rocaer Massage Gun is around $180 which is slightly less than average for massage guns. Most percussive massagers run in the $200-$300 range. This also includes 4 different massage heads in the purchase price.
Settings
It has a low, medium, high, and alternating setting. It charges quickly and holds it's charge for quite some time, even with regular use.
It also comes in a nice, sturdy carry case.
Cons
Settings
There are only 4 settings, so it won't be quite as easy to find the perfect level for you as some of the other massagers out there.
Case
The case didn't really account for the heads or at least doesn't seem to be made specifically for this massage gun and heads. They fit fine, but it isn't a snug fit. The heads come in a zippered bag that can be placed inside, but again not specifically designed for them.
Overall
Overall, this is a nice percussive massage gun. It is slightly cheaper than average and has a good range of settings. The hard shell case holds the massage gun securely and has straps for accessories, but isn't specifically designed for the accessories. So far we really like this one and prefer it to the cheaper ones, but it is nearly double the price.
