Athlete or not, percussion massage guns have been all the rage this past year. They have a multitude of benefits and allow for deep tissue massages. The best part for me? You can give yourself a back massage! I've also noticed that I have fewer muscles aches and joint pain when I use regularly on my legs. That's why I was so excited to be able to try out the NPET Muscle Massage Gun.
Pros
Cost
The NPET Massage Gun is under $100 which is a steal for this type of product. Most percussive massagers run in the $200-$300 range. This also includes 4 different massage heads in the purchase price.
Settings
While most percussive massage guns have a low, medium, and high setting, the NPET Massage Gun has 8 different intensity levels. This allows you to find the perfect level for your muscles. It charges quickly and holds it's charge for quite some time, even with regular use.
It also comes in a nice, sturdy carry case and detailed instructions on how to use each head type and how long to use on different muscles sections.
Cons
Settings
This massage gun does have an on/off switch in addition to the typical push button on/off that most massage guns have. This is nice in a way as you won't accidentally bump it and turn on. However, if you forget to turn it off, it will continue using battery power lighting up the 0 intensity level and won't auto off.
Overall
Overall, this is a very affordable percussive massage gun. It has a nice range of settings and heads that all fit securely within the sturdy, hard top carry case. While the on/off button can cause the battery to run down, this seems like a minor issue given the value of the massager. I would recommend as a good alternative to the more expensive models.
