Bean Envy Premium Handheld Battery Powered Milk Frother Unboxing, Demo, and Review

We love coffee at our house and especially cappuccinos. Getting a nice frothed milk can be challenging though. Our espresso maker comes with a milk steamer/frother attachment, but it is difficult to clean and doesn't always do the best job foaming the milk.

When Bean Envy offered to let us try their handheld frother, we jumped at the chance. We went with the bright blue/teal for a pop of color in the kitchen, but this one comes in Black, Blue, Red, White, or Robins Egg Blue (pictured).

To begin, the packaging is very high quality with plenty of instructions on how to use, clean, install batteries and so on. It also comes with a lifetime warranty and detailed specifications on the motor. It is easier to hold than others I've tried previously (see GRUNEN WOLKEN Milk Frother Review). I love that the button is on top rather than on the side, making it easier to operate. The batteries were easy to put in/take out as long as you keep the ribbon beneath the batteries when installing.

The user guide comes with detailed instructions and a guide for frothing various types of milk (skim, full fat, non-dairy, etc) as well as recipes for great hot drinks including an eggnog cappuccino. It frothed / foamed very easily with warmed almond milk (see video for demonstration), but also worked great for chocolate milk. Cleaning is simple and quick. For the price of between $14-$17 (depends on color ordered), this is a great addition to your small kitchen appliance stock especially for coffee lovers. It can add some fun to hot chocolate or be used to mix up protein shakes more efficiently as well.
