Soulion Tracer 30 PC Gaming Headset Unboxing and Review

Whether working from home, attending classes or simply gaming, a good headset can make a world of difference. We've tried out a few different ones in our household to find a good balance of comfort, noise cancelling, sound quality and cost. The Soulion Tracer 30 headset runs around $30 at time of posting putting it in the affordable category, though it is still double the cheapest headsets.

Onto the other areas we were looking into. The headset is adjustable so it works for all head sizes and makes it more comfortable. Both the top and the earphones are heavily cushioned. I found this helped a lot in preventing headaches that typically come with wearing headsets for extended periods of time. The mic is also adjustable to best capture sound without also getting every breath you're taking (unless you want to, then just move it closer).

The mic is easily switched on an off by a button on the cord. The volume can also be adjusted here. It claims to be noise cancelling and overall it does seem to reduce ambient noise. I couldn't hear the construction outside our house or general chatter inside the house for the most part. I haven't had an issues hearing conversation and there isn't muddled audio when listening through the Soulion headset.
