EXski Thinsulate Waterproof Winter 3-Finger Ski Gloves Unboxing and Review

I live in Minnesota, meaning winters can be brutal with months of snow and temperatures below 0 F or ~-18 C. While gloves typically offer more dexterity, they can leave my hands feeling cold quickly. This is why I usually wear mittens for longer outdoor exposure such as winter sports (snowmobiling, ice skating, skiing, etc.), shoveling, or even driving on the very cold days. Mittens are definitely hard to work with when grabbing handles or trying to change a radio station. I hadn't seen the 3-finger gloves before so I was very excited to try these EXski 3-Finger Ski Gloves out.

They act like a mitten for the most part, but allow for some dexterity by leaving the index finger separate from the rest of the mitten. They worked great for driving and shoveling so far as I could actually grab the wheel and push buttons without the mitten getting in the way.

These are made from 3M thinsulate and are rated down to -22 F ( -30 C). They also have a membrane inside to keep hands from sweating (or at least soak up sweat to prevent wet hands). They seem to be very waterproof as after an hour in the snow, they still weren't wet. They also feel very heavy duty so shouldn't tear easily. I love that they are longer so they overlap your coat a bit and help avoid getting pesky snow stuck around your wrists. The wrist is adjustable so these should work for pretty much any adult, though they do come in sizes ranges from M-XL. They also clip together as standard for more ski gloves.

These ran under $40 at time of purchase, which seems very affordable to me for a good pair of sport-worthy gloves. The glove/mitten combo takes a bit of getting used to as they do feel goofy when you first put them on. Overall, they are incredibly warm and long lasting for a good price. I would recommend for anyone in a colder climate or that enjoys outdoor winter sports.
