Christmas is quickly approaching and easy to wrap/store gifts can be hard to come by. Sure a slide is fun, but where do you put it when you're not using it? Ok, actually you probably already have a slide. 😀 I guess the better question is, what is a fun and educational gift that doesn't add to the already high level of screen time for your kids? No judgement from me on screen time either though.
The Tookyland Stacking Game is a Montessori style toy is a Jenga style game made up of colored wooden blocks that also have animals on them. While it is still fun to play as an adult, it may be slightly more entertaining than regular jenga for younger kids. This game also comes with 2 dice and cards giving you the option to play as regular jenga or to put a twist on it and either draw a card or roll the dice to see which block needs to be removed.
I like that this is a game, but can help teach colors and animals while you're playing. You can also use the provided wooden mallets to help remove the wood blocks as you play. This was affordable and well crafted. We will be playing over Christmas as our house.
