This safari animal set from GiftInTheBox comes with 12 unique animals that measure ~5-6.5" in length, a zoo themed felt play mat, and a handy carrying case. None of the safari animals are repeating.
The animals are plastic, but feel robust enough to take a beating from small children without becoming a choking hazard. They likely wouldn't put up much of a fight against household pets though. It is an interesting variety of animals - my set came with a zebra, elephant, panda, cheetah, hippo, black bear, tiger, bobcat, giraffe, racoon, lion, and caribou. These aren't all exactly what I would consider safari animals, but I don't think the kids will mind.
The play mat is felt and should hold up to regular wear and tear. It doesn't have any type of edging or trim, but felt is typically fairly resistant to raveling. Overall it seems like a decent value for what you get. It is a good screen time alternative and could be a great way to learn some of the animals, though you won't know for sure which ones until your box arrives.
Comparison
The two mats are very similar. The carrying case is the same for both and the box they come in is the same size. You get the same number of animals in both sets and the playmat is the same material and size. TEPSMIGO is the cheaper option for an almost similar product.
Animals are slightly smaller in the GiftInTheBox set, thus packing up more nicely. Neither one had a giraffe that could stand.
