The Conikus wood stacking and sorting toy is another Montessori style toy. Blocks are different colors and shapes so kids can sort by either as well as stack on the peg board included. The pieces are sturdy and thick enough that they can handle some heavy usage and play.
My only concern is the size of the small rectangle. It is sold as a toy for 1 year olds and up. Most 1 year olds I know still chew one toys quite a bit. For me, I would probably remove the smallest size until major teething is done or plan to play along with the child to avoid any choking hazard. Otherwise, this is a very fun and well make toy.
It is affordable, coming in right around $10-$12 depending on the current sale.
