Mother Earth Clay Hair Mask Review | TPH by Taraji Hair Products

Home Tester Club sent me this as a sample earlier this year. It may have been free, but that doesn't influence my views going forward.

The Brand

TPH by Taraji is a pretty cool brand in that it makes natural products for a variety of hair types. Natural is a word thrown around a lot lately, but as far as I can tell, these don't have artificial preservatives or parabens at least. The products seem fairly versatile and don't damage hair.

Mother Earth Hair Mask

Ok, so back to the hair mask. The directions are to apply to clean hair and leave on for 20 minutes before washing out. I applied to damp, clean hair and left on for the 20 minutes. My hair felt quite crunchy by the end of that time, but it did wash out fairly easily. It smells lightly, but pleasantly. I love the ingredient list (like I was raging about in the brand section) which included apple cider vinegar and clay.

While I don't have super curly hair, it still helped to define my somewhat wavy hair without adding in product after washing this out. This mask left my hair feeling very soft and light, but helped tame flyaways as well. It didn't take much for my shorter hair, but it seems like overall it would go a long ways. I would recommend for the price point ($14.99 at time of posting).
