Today we unboxed the INNOCHEER Kids Cleaning Toy Set. As we gear up for Christmas, we wanted to see how this toy looked to see if it was a 👍 or 👎 for this gift giving occasion. I was drawn to this cleaning toy as it included a broom, mop, dust pan with hand sweeper, duster, sponge, towel and squirt bottle (that is supposed to work) along with the traditional organizing stand that most others have as well. This seemed like a wider range of tools than I was seeing in the other sets and it was fairly affordable.
Pros
Upon opening the box, the pieces felt sturdy, but are still plastic. Each piece of the broom and mop clicked together without issue and held that way nicely, but also weren't too hard to disassemble again either. The squirt bottle does in fact work as do the rest of the pieces in actually being able to clean. There were no sharp edges that I noticed.
I like that this toy allows for the kids to learn by imitation and participate in daily cleaning activities alongside adults. Especially because when they are young, they still think cleaning is fun! This can be a great way to introduce them to cleaning/chores as well without it seeming like a chore.
Cons
While everything went together fairly easily, the hanging hooks actually took quite a bit of force to place and seem like they'd be difficult to take apart again. I also haven't been able to get the dinosaur piece to fit on the top yet. I think that will take extra care/finagling to get placed. I wasn't really sold on the dinosaur part anyway though, so it isn't a huge loss to me.
