Located in the heart of Füssen, it is only a short walk away from most hotels in the area. On your way, be sure to window shop as you pass by quaint local shops selling locally made crafts and souvenirs. In fine weather, you can dine outside and watch local activity as your enjoy your meal, while in the cooler months you can experience the relaxing and upscale ambiance without any of the exorbitant pricing of fancier restaurants.
This wonderful little café offers a variety of food from burgers to salads and a bit of everything in between. We tried one of the hamburgers and a tarte flambée, as well as the apfelstrudel. The hamburgers do not come with sides which does make dinner slightly more expensive, though also allows for more customization of your meal. All of our dishes were very tasty as were our drinks. It is easy to lose track of time while eating and/or drinking here.
While beer and wine are offered here, this is a must visit for those who are more interested in a mixed drink. Best known for their hand-crafted cocktails, their drinks are truly an art form here. The bar is uniquely styled with white rock backdrop and uplighting. Watch the bartender while mixing your drinks for a bit of free entertainment. While watching, you will see the care and dedication that they are putting into your experience.
This café appears to be a favorite of locals and tourists alike and you won't regret stopping here if you are in Füssen area. Chapeau makes for a great dinner after visiting the Neuschwanstein or Hohenschwangau Castles.
Looking for a great diner after your visit to Neuschwanstein Castle? Try out this great café for amazing, yet affordable food and truly craft mixed drinks. #restaurantreview #Füssen #chapeau
